#Trilian vs scarbee bass Patch#
While the 'lower' file selection field, brings up the single layer patch browser. this will bring up the 'multi' patch browser. you can click the 'upper' file selection field. that to call up already saved multi's (that probably already have keyswitches programmed). There you can adjust the 'Key Select Mode' from 'Switch', to 'Touch'.Īlso realize. click the '+ magnifying glass' icon, to the right of the 'power switch' icon, to bring up the live mode 'settings' page. If you'd like to fully switch to a new layer (or layers) with just one note press (non-temporarily). 'MIDI Note Inverted' will set the original layer to turn off, temporarily, while the new layer is being switched on. 'MIDI Note Learn' will assign the next key you hit, to that layer. there you can set what keys you'd like to use. Right clicking on the layers, in the live mode screen, will bring up a context window. make sure none of the three buttons to the left of the 'power button' are lit up. This will put Trilian into Live Mode, where you can set up custom key switches. then click the 'power button' icon to turn it on (the button next to the text 'LIVE MODE' on that screen).

Thought I'd ask here first since I'm inside Sonar.Ĭlick 'MULTI', then click 'LIVE'. This doesn't seem to be so inside Trilian unless I am missing something (which I sure I am). Usually (per Scarbee) on the lower ened of the piano roll view would be blank keys to be used as key switches. Trilian is designed from the ground up to be the most versatile bass virtual instrument available today with a new level of expressive, real-time. With its comprehensive design, Trilian brings many different types of Bass together into one extraordinary-sounding virtual instrument. All videos show a person using a keyboard to change the different articulations. Spectrasonics Trilian v1.6.1c Incl Patched and Keygen-R2R. I can load different samples into the 8 presets (articulations) but how do I access these different articulations inside the piano roll view inside Sonar? I have searched the Trilian Reference Guide with no success. However, I have just purchased Trilian and see there is a different method/technique (I think) for accessing different layers of sound. I have also used Scarbee bass libraries and have been able to access different layers of the library via the key switch method.

I have programmed all of my basses, drums etc via the piano roll view. OT: Trilian, Key Switches and Piano Roll View
